Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers choose frames and lenses. You will use prescriptions to advise on lenses, take measurements, and collaborate with the Optician to ensure accurate fitting.

The role emphasizes achieving sales goals, maintaining store presentation, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, calculators, and basic phone/math skills.
• Ability to meet sales goals with strong selling skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
• Maintain a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
