Job summary

LensCrafters in the United States is seeking a friendly Optical Sales Associate to help patients choose eyewear and ensure an unsurpassed experience. You will greet customers, assess needs, and explain product features to support eyewear selections.

You will also operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, and keep displays neat and attractive while providing excellent service to every patient.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Effective selling skills.
• Familiarity with technology such as POS systems and patient record systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients with a warm welcome and provides service.
• Explores patient needs and links to eyewear and eye exam offerings.
• Demonstrates product knowledge and describes features and benefits.
• Operates the POS system and handles sales transactions accurately.
• Maintains displays, inventory, and overall store appearance.
