Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Eyewear Consultant to join our friendly clinic team. You’ll provide personalized eyewear recommendations, explain insurance benefits, and help patients choose frames and lenses while delivering a great in-store experience.

No optical experience? Training is provided. You’ll collaborate with doctors and staff, support sales goals, and participate in weekend/evening shifts as needed. Join us to help patients see, look, and be their best.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing or sales related position.
• Proactive problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willing to learn about eyewear industry, products and services.
• Ability to sell with a drive to meet office goals.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player willing to collaborate to provide best patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising the patient’s needs.
• Assist patients in eyewear/frame/lens selection by using knowledge of product lines and options to educate patients on best fit.
• Consistently deliver sales plan and office goals through cultivating a patient experience built on relationship and trust.
• Provide patients with comprehensive explanation of insurance benefits.
• Utilize training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from our wide selection.
• Complete optometric tasks in partnership with our Office Optometrist to serve the patient’s lenses or frames.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.
• Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.
