Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our fast-growing retail optical team. In this in-store role you will greet customers, assess eyewear needs, and guide selections that fit budgets and eye care requirements.

You will handle simple repairs, lens edging, and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time, while meeting sales goals and following safety standards. Flexible schedule and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast paced retail environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Greet our patients and customers as they enter the store, identify patients’ needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while providing promotional products and services available.
• Assist patients and customers to choose eyewear that best fit their budget requirements as well as eye care needs.
• Troubleshoot and identify problems related to prescription.
• Resolve customer complaints, diffuse unsatisfied patients, and provide solutions to remedy situations.
• Attain sales goals established while complying with company and local policies and procedures.
• Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses, and ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
