Job summary

LensCrafters in Austin is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional eye care and eyewear experiences. You will help customers select frames, use prescriptions to recommend lenses, and coordinate measurements with the Optician to ensure the perfect vision solution.

You will meet sales targets, maintain displays, and contribute to a welcoming store environment. The role requires at least 1 year in retail or customer service, with strong communication and a readiness to adopt new technology.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers and calculators.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and meet goals.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements assisting our customers in choosing the perfect vision solution.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Acts as part of a team to foster a positive store environment with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Takes pride in the appearance of store and keeps displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
