Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding eye care and eyewear experiences in our store. You will guide customers through frame and lens selections, apply prescriptions, and coordinate measurements with the Optician to ensure a precise fit for every patient.

Ideal candidates bring retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and a proactive, tech-savvy mindset in a fast-paced environment. This role supports a welcoming, high-quality customer journey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell through sales skills and meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivator with the ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Actively participates and contributes to a positive store environment and builds professional relationships.
• Takes pride in store appearance and keeps displays and inventory organized.
• Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
