Job summary

L’Amy America Eyewear seeks a Product Development Specialist to drive the creation and launch of optical frames, sunglasses, and related eyewear. You will coordinate timelines, manage samples, and partner with design, factories, and vendors to meet brand, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include overseeing specs, materials, colors, trims, packaging, and documentation such as drawings and BOMs, while supporting cost analysis and compliance testing.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of product development experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple launches with international vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development from concept to production launch.
• Manage product specs, materials, colors, trims, and packaging.
• Track timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Communicate with overseas factories on prototypes and production readiness.
• Review sample submissions for design and technical accuracy.
• Maintain development documentation (drawings, BOMs, costing, logs).
• Partner with purchasing and operations to address manufacturing and delivery issues.
• Support cost analysis.
• Coordinate testing and compliance requirements.
• Assist with line reviews and product presentations.
