Qualifications

• State certified apprenticeship preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and tolerances.
• Willingness to perform precise, high-difficulty toolmaking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble complex tool sets from specs, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
• Establish tolerances using shop math and trig; finish tooling by hand.
• Prove tooling with sample runs and obtain QA approvals for new tools.
