HW Staffing Solutions seeks a Tool & Diemaker in Farmington, CT to service and fabricate tooling for production presses. You will read blueprints, perform setup, and assist apprentices while maintaining tooling documentation.

Candidates should have Journeyman certification or 5 years experience, and be adept with progressive, secondary and fourslide tooling in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or 5 years equivalent experience.
• Read and understand blueprints and GD&T for production tooling.
• Experience with progressive, secondary or fourslide tooling.

Responsabilités

• Service production tools in the press and perform pre-run maintenance.
• Fabricate tools, components, fixtures, and gauges as directed.
• Assist in training apprentices and document tool history.
• Alert supervisors on tool maintenance needs and tooling updates.
• Setup and operate tooling for secondary operations and forming.
