Qualifications

• Ability to read specifications, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use shop mathematics and trigonometry to establish allowances.
• Proficiency in precision hand finishing and tool proofing.

Responsibilities

• Construct tools, transfer fingers, and gauges from specifications.
• Prepare machines and install new tools for production runs; verify first piece with QA.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues, adjust speeds/feeds and perform repairs as needed.
