Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Eye Care Sales Associate for our Paramus, NJ location. In this role you will assist patients choosing eyewear and related products, using strong product knowledge and a friendly, service-focused approach.

You will support the practice with exceptional patient experiences, process sales efficiently, and help maintain a welcoming, organized showroom environment. Prior eyewear or retail sales experience is a plus, along with comfort with technology and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Effective selling skills.
• Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, or other software applications.
• Embraces new technology and change.
• Strong communicator and listener.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and provides prompt service.
• Assesses patient needs and links to eyewear and eye exams.
• Asks clarifying questions and consults with Optician as needed.
• Demonstrates product knowledge and explains features/benefits.
• Prioritizes tasks and manages time with competing priorities.
• Custom fits glasses and inputs prescription into lenses.
• Manages sales transactions on the POS and completes purchases.
• Educates at product pickup and answers questions.
• Maintains displays and inventory in a neat, organized way.
• Performs duties with attention to safety and company policies.
