You’ll support pre-testing, data collection, and training for contact lens insertion/removal while helping keep the exam flow smooth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical environment supporting doctors.
• Optometric Technician training or CPOT certification.
• Familiar with healthcare tech and EMR systems, retinal cameras, and exam room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between doctor and patient, establishing rapport.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, etc.).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments.
• Train on insertion and removal training for new contact lens wearers.
• Help manage patient flow and appointment confirmations to ensure a seamless experience.
