Job summary

Bridgeview Eye Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support doctors with exams and patient care. The role includes preparing exam rooms, assisting with tests, scheduling and coordinating patient flow, and communicating delays. Training is provided; bilingual skills are a plus. You will work closely with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure accurate data collection and a welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are a plus and helpful for patient interactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Prior medical office experience not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations and explain testing procedures.
• Perform preliminary and doctor-requested tests on patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist during exams.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow in the office.
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain inventory of supplies and medications.
• Provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
