Job summary

Bridgeview Eye Partners in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an ophthalmic technician to support doctors with exams and testing. You will prepare patients, perform preliminary tests, manage scheduling and exam rooms, and assist clinicians with procedures in a fast-paced eye care setting.

Qualifications

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
