You will document findings in EHR, coordinate appointment scheduling, and handle referrals and follow‑ups while ensuring HIPAA compliance and compassionate patient education.

Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency with Office software are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams.
• Familiarity with medical terms in eye treatment.
• Experience maintaining patient records per HIPAA.
• Industry certifications such as CPO, CPOA, CPOT.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing and assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Schedule and manage doctor appointments to ensure efficient care.
• Record medical findings in EHR and handle documentation.
• Handle recall communications and patient inquiries.
• Cleans and maintains practice areas and equipment.
• May act as scribe or perform refractions.
