Yes! Communities, Inc. is hiring an Optometric Technician I to assist the optometrist and support staff in delivering high-quality eye care. You will pre-screen patients, collect medical history, schedule appointments, and help patients understand their vision benefits.

The role requires strong customer service, effective communication, and multi-tasking abilities. Prior optometric or healthcare experience is a plus, and flexibility to adapt to schedule changes is important to success.

Qualificações

• Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical.
• 1+ years of experience preferred in optometric or healthcare settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with good interpersonal and listening skills.
• Flexible to accommodate schedule changes on short notice.
• Experience with electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Pre-screen patients and administer diagnostic tests.
• Gather medical history and coordinate with doctors.
• Answer phones, greet patients and schedule appointments.
• Educate patients on insurance coverage and vision benefits.
• Train patients on contact lens use and care.
• Post charges for exams, co-pays, and products sold.
• Document exams and procedures accurately in EMR.
• Coordinate scheduling and monitor patient flow in the office.
