Qualifications

• Previous experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is helpful but not required.
• We are willing to train.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; attention to detail; tech-savvy with EMR and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary vision tests and diagnostic screenings.
• Obtain patient histories and update electronic health records.
• Prepare patients and examination rooms for eye exams.
• Operate ophthalmic testing equipment and assist the optometrist.
• Educate patients on basic eye care and contact lens procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary clinical environment.
• Support scheduling, patient communication, and daily clinic operations.
