Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in eye care, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic systems for records and scheduling.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and prepare them for examinations in a friendly, professional manner.
• Obtain and document patient history, reason for visit, and relevant visual concerns.
• Perform preliminary vision testing and diagnostic measurements as directed.
• Assist with basic clinical procedures and support the provider during patient visits.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record.
• Clean, organize, and restock exam rooms and clinical equipment.
• Provide support with appointment scheduling, patient communication, and follow-up tasks as needed.
• Help ensure a smooth patient experience by coordinating with the front office and clinical team.
• Adhere to all safety, privacy, and infection control standards.
