Job summary

LensCrafters in Scranton, PA is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional eyewear service. You will help customers select frames, discuss lenses, and ensure accurate measurements, contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

The role requires 1+ year retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and comfort with POS systems. You’ll join a team focused on quality care and achieving sales goals while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell using sales skills and be accountable for results.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Self-Motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assists patients in frame selection and coordinates frames with measurements.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Participates in maintaining a positive store environment and professional relationships with peers and staff.
• Maintains store appearance and inventory, keeping displays attractive and organized.
• Fosters an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
