Tarsus Pharmaceuticals seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in ophthalmology to engage optometrists and ophthalmologists with compliant scientific exchange and patient-centered education.

The role will require field-based work across designated regions with 60–80% travel, delivering disease-state education and supporting medical strategy, while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Doctorate in eye care or equivalent required or preferred.

Formación

• Doctorate of optometry, or MD, PharmD, PhD with eye care expertise required.
• 3+ years of experience as an MSL in eye care preferred; or 3+ years of clinical eyecare experience with at least one year in industry or 7+ years of clinical eyecare.
• Strong emotional intelligence and presentation skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, manage, and prioritize workload proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to navigate systems including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to collect actionable insights and critically analyze data.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical and clinical information.

Responsabilidades

• Manage key opinion leader optometrists and ophthalmologists in a designated region.
• Be the primary medical affairs KOL point of contact for day-to-day needs and scientific exchange.
• Collect actionable insights from field exchanges and help shape medical strategy.
• Provide whole practice education to optometric and ophthalmic centers.
• Support disease state education in Optometry schools and Ophthalmology residency programs.
• Instruct customers on investigator initiated trials and medical information procedures.
• Identify and recommend KOLs for projects based on expertise and competencies.
• Plan KOL engagements and attend scientific meetings as needed.
• Liaise with local and regional optometric/ophthalmic societies.
