Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to engage optometrists and ophthalmologists, provide scientific exchange, and educate on disease states relevant to our eye care products.

This field-based position requires travel 60-80% across the Midwest region, with potential remote work options. The candidate should have 4+ years of MSL experience or 7+ years clinical eyecare, and possess a Doctorate of Optometry or MD/PhD in eye care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in optometry or MD/PhD with eye care expertise.
• 2+ years of relevant MSL experience in eyecare or 7+ years clinical eyecare recommended.
• Strong emotional intelligence and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 60–80% and work in a field-based role.
• Experience engaging KOLs and advisory boards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage KOL optometrists and ophthalmologists within a designated region.
• Serve as the primary medical affairs contact for day-to-day needs and scientific exchange.
• Collect actionable insights from field exchanges to shape medical strategy.
• Provide whole practice education to optometric and ophthalmic centers.
• Support investigator-initiated trials and medical information procedures.
