Job summary

Tarsus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to operate in a field-based role across Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. You will engage optometrists and ophthalmologists, exchange scientific data, and support education on disease states related to eye care.

Travel 60-80% is required. Ideal candidates hold a Doctorate of Optometry or MD/PhD with eye care expertise and have 3+ years of MSL or clinical eyecare experience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of optometry or MD/PhD with eye care expertise required.
• 3+ years MSL experience in eye care preferred; or 3+ years clinical eyecare plus 1+ year of industry experience or 7+ years clinical eyecare.

Responsibilities

• Manage KOL optometrists and ophthalmologists in a designated region with compliant conduct.
• Be the primary medical affairs KOL contact for day-to-day needs and scientific exchanges.
• Collect actionable insights from field exchanges to shape medical strategy.
• Provide whole practice education to optometric and ophthalmic centers.
• Instruct on investigator initiated trials and medical information procedures.
• Plan KOL engagements and attend scientific sessions as needed.
• Liaise with local ophthalmic societies and present scientific evidence to payers.
