Welcome to the Tarsanet Internal Career Center! is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to engage in compliant scientific exchange, educate on disease states and respond to inquiries related to our products.

The role reports to the National Director of Field Medical and requires field-based activity with 60-80% travel. Responsibilities include managing KOLs in OH, WV, KY, and surrounding regions, delivering education to optometric/ophthalmic centers, and shaping medical strategy through

Competenze

• Doctorate of optometry, or MD, PharmD, PhD with eye care expertise required.
• 3+ years as a medical science liaison in eyecare preferred; or 3+ years clinical eyecare with at least 1 year of industry experience or 7+ years clinical practice in eyecare.

Mansioni

• Manage KOL optometrists and ophthalmologists in a designated region with compliant conduct.
• Serve as the primary medical affairs KOL point of contact for day-to-day needs and scientific exchanges.
• Collect actionable insights from field exchanges and shape medical strategy.
• Provide whole practice education to optometric and ophthalmic centers.
• Support disease state education in Optometry schools and Ophthalmology residencies.
• Instruct on investigator-initiated trials and medical information procedures.
• Identify and recommend KOLs for projects including advisory boards, education initiatives, publications, clinical trials, and business evaluations.
• Plan KOL engagements and attend scientific sessions at local, regional and national medical meetings.
• Liaise with local/regional optometric and ophthalmic societies and present scientific evidence to payer community.
