Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to support patient preparation and testing for onsite and remote examinations. You will explain steps, document results in EMR, and coordinate with Optometrists to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The role requires one year of related experience, an optical or healthcare background preferred, and a professional medical office approach. Training is provided and travel to other locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist onsite doctor with patient care and eye examinations.
• Explain preliminary testing process to patients and document results in EMR accurately.
• Support remote eye exams: pre-testing, testing, and documenting results in EMR.
