Hampel Corp. in Wisconsin is seeking a First Shift Extrusion Technician to operate sheet extrusion equipment and support a safe, productive manufacturing floor. You will run an extruder, monitor quality, complete required documentation, and communicate issues to leads to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in a plastic extrusion environment preferred.
• Ability to independently set up extrusion equipment using established protocols.
• Ability to monitor temperatures and line speeds to maintain product quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet extruder and ancillary equipment.
• Adjust and calibrate blending equipment to ensure proper material blend.
• Blend colors at correct let down ratios.
• Maintain steady supply of plastic components to the extruder and monitor flow.
