Job summary

TekniPlex is hiring an Extrusion Operator 1st Shift (7am - 3pm) for our Madison, WI facility. You will operate the extrusion line, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality products. Knowledge of safety rules and machinery instructions is essential.

The role requires following OHSE and Quality Systems, performing routine maintenance, and supporting the Extrusion Assistant as needed. Benefits and a range of production duties accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Monitor quality of product during runs.
• Set up machine and change coatings, configurations, decks, raw materials, and methods.
• Inspect job as it runs for quality of print, coating and laminating.
• Direct the activities of the Extrusion Assistant.
• Proficient at using a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate the extrusion line safely and ensure product quality.
• Follow OHSE and Quality Systems to maintain a safe workplace.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Perform daily maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
