Hampel Corp. in Wisconsin is seeking a first shift Extrusion Operator to run a sheet extrusion line. You will set up and operate the extruder and related equipment, monitor quality, and meet production goals in a team-driven environment.

The role includes responsibility for safety and documentation, with opportunities for a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a 15% pre-tax profit share distributed quarterly. This full-time hourly position requires 2 years in a plastics extrusion setting or completion of

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• HMWPE extrusion is a plus.
• 2 years of experience in a plastic extrusion related environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate sheet extruder and ancillary equipment.
• Adjust blending equipment to ensure proper blend of material components.
• Blend colors at correct let down ratios.
• Ensure steady supply of plastic products to the extruder by monitoring flow.
• Change dies, screws, rolls and dialups on the extruder.
• Understand and program Welex gauging systems.
• Monitor temperatures and control cooling and grinding systems.
• Take instrument readings and adjust as required.
• Complete daily production documentation and QA checks.
