Job summary
Panoramic (A Georgia Pacific Company) is seeking an Extrusion Technician in Janesville, WI to operate, monitor, and optimize extrusion equipment for consistent product quality and production targets. Focus on safety, efficiency, uptime, and scrap reduction within the plastics department.
Role includes 2-2-3 schedule with rotating 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) and every other weekend/holiday. Compensation is commensurate with experience, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience reading gauges including a digital caliper and micrometer.
Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion equipment and set extruder operating parameters.
- Inspect finished product quality and correct defects.
- Notify personnel when product fails to meet standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
- Assist in training and documenting production data.
