Job summary

Winpak in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Extrusion Operator to join our production team. The role involves operating extrusion and co-extrusion machinery on 12-hour shifts (8:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00) with a 2/2/3 rotation and every other weekend off.

You will perform quality checks, follow order paperwork, and prepare materials while maintaining safety and production standards. This onsite position offers opportunities to grow with a company focused on teamwork, safety, and excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably blown film.
• Basic math, computer, and measurement reading skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruding and co-extruding machinery safely and efficiently to produce quality products.
• Perform quality checks as dictated by sampling plans.
• Promote safety practices and work collaboratively with other operators.
• Read and follow order paperwork, ensuring special instructions are adhered to.
• Build, label, and wrap pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare raw materials and monitor process changes to maintain consistent production.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed to ensure a clean and safe work area.
