Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in the extrusion department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. You will supervise production employees, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ESG standards.

Responsibilities include coaching, shift meetings, hiring participation, data analysis, coordinating with Maintenance and Quality, and maintaining accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (associate/bachelor preferred).
• 3-5 years manufacturing leadership, extrusion or plastics.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety programs, and quality systems.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced production.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Meet production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Monitor extrusion processes and equipment performance to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on work practices, safety requirements, and quality expectations.

• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and corrective action processes.
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Material Handling, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Job Description

The Extrusion Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within the extrusion department to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of products. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in extrusion or plastics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety programs, and quality systems.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift within company guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
