Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North America is seeking an Extrusion Operator to inspect extruded products for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards. You will ensure proper counts, packing patterns, and labels, while maintaining paperwork and performing online quality inspections.

The role requires reading a tape measure, standing for 12-hour shifts, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Base pay is $16 per hour with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Related machine operation experience is preferred.
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift.
• Basic Math skills and ability to read English.

Job Description

Base Pay: $16 per hour

2-2-3 Work Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.

• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels
• Associate maintains paperwork as required
• Performs online quality inspections

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Related machine operation experience
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to read English and quality test product
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred
