Georg-Fischer is seeking a qualified Process Technician to support extrusion operations on site. You will maintain a neat and orderly work area, assist higher level technicians with online/tooling changes, and help start up extrusion lines while ensuring products meet quality specifications.

You will document QC measurements, fill production tickets for audits, and help identify correct materials and parts.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area and ensure machines/work areas are cleaned after changes or work is completed.
• Assist higher level Process Techs with online/tooling changes and with starting up extrusion lines.
• Assist in keeping extrusion machines running at standard settings to meet Quality Assurance specifications on finished product.
• Fill out production tickets with the proper information for audits (e.g., part number, weight, lift details).

Maintains a neat, clean, orderly work area, cleaning machines, and work areas after a change/work has been completed.Assists higher level Process Techs online/tooling changes.Assists higher level Process Techs in starting up extrusion lines.Assists higher level Process Techs to keep the machines running at standard and meeting Quality Assurance specifications on finished product.Assist in higher level Process Techs in maintaining proper paperwork as required. Ensures that every machine has the correct part(s) identified as scheduled to run in the extrusion line.Assist in higher level Process Techs in identifying correct materials and making material attachments to the extrusion machine.Ability to operate a forklift in accordance with state and local regulations with an approved forklift license (may be working toward the license with plant H.R./training dept.).Supports the established Quality PolicyFulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.Perform and document QC measurements including visual inspection to ensure product is within specification.Fills out production tickets with the proper information for audit station one.
