Georg Fischer in Easton, PA, seeks a Process Technician to support extrusion lines, perform QC checks, and maintain production readiness. The role requires assisting higher level Process Techs with line startups, tooling changes, and maintaining equipment in spec through diligent routine checks.

You will document production tickets, ensure proper part identification, and follow the documented quality system.

Qualificações

• Experience operating extrusion lines or in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform QC measurements and visual inspections.
• Familiarity with maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Willingness to assist higher level technicians and follow instructions.
• Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain neat, clean work area and machinery after changes.
• Assist higher level Process Techs with online/tooling changes.
• Assist in starting up extrusion lines and keeping machines in spec.
• Document production tickets with part numbers and weights for audits.
• Support quality policy and follow the quality system procedures.

• Maintains a neat, clean, orderly work area, cleaning machines, and work areas after a change/work has been completed.
• Assists higher level Process Techs online/tooling changes.
• Assists higher level Process Techs in starting up extrusion lines.
• Assists higher level Process Techs to keep the machines running at standard and meeting Quality Assurance specifications on finished product.
• Assist in higher level Process Techs in maintaining proper paperwork as required. Ensures that every machine has the correct part(s) identified as scheduled to run in the extrusion line.
• Assist in higher level Process Techs in identifying correct materials and making material attachments to the extrusion machine.
• Ability to operate a forklift in accordance with state and local regulations with an approved forklift license (may be working toward the license with plant H.R./training dept.).
• Supports the established Quality Policy
• Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.

• Fills out production tickets with the proper information for audit station one. I.e. part number, weight of lift etc.
