Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area and clean machines after changes/work completed.
• Assist higher level Process Techs with online/tooling changes.
• Assist higher level Process Techs in starting up extrusion lines and keeping machines running to meet QA specifications on finished product.
• Assist in maintaining proper paperwork as required.
• Ensure every machine has the correct part(s) identified as scheduled to run on the extrusion line.
• Assist in identifying correct materials and attaching materials to the extrusion machine.
• Operate a forklift in accordance with state and local regulations with an approved forklift license.
• Support the established Quality Policy and adhere to the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.
• Perform and document QC measurements including visual inspection to ensure product is within specification.
• Fill out production tickets with the proper information for audit—e.g., part number, weight of lift, etc.
