Crystal Finishing Systems Incorporated in Town of Mosinee, WI is seeking an Extrusion Department Manager to lead our extrusion operations. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, efficiency, and accountability while building a strong team culture.

You will coach employees, manage scheduling, monitor production metrics, and partner with Maintenance, Engineering, HR and Safety to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a related degree in management.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, and quality processes.
• Experience reading blueprints and part drawings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of finishing processes and painting aluminum is preferred.
• Experience using small hand tools is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Lead department employees and oversee daily manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment by reinforcing procedures, training, PPE, and accident prevention.
• Monitor production, downtime, efficiency, and quality to meet goals and customer expectations.
• Coach, train, develop, and motivate employees with clear expectations and accountability.
• Manage scheduling, time records, overtime, time-off requests, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Human Resources, Safety, and other departments to resolve concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready department and address housekeeping and equipment concerns.
• Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, productivity, processes, and cost.
