Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor to lead shift operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will provide leadership to production teams, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

This position reports to the Extrusion Manager. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, 1+ year leading teams, and strong knowledge of safety, quality, and production processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 1 year of leading production teams or crews.
• Experience monitoring production metrics (efficiency, utilization, throughput).
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety, quality, and processes.
• Ability to read production docs and perform basic math.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop and support team leaders and production employees to improve performance and operational effectiveness.
• Lead daily extrusion press and aging oven operations to hit production, quality and safety targets.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Conduct routine safety observations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop and maintain extrusion processes and SOPs for operational excellence.
• Ensure quality inspections, production documentation, and reporting are completed accurately.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to boost productivity and equipment performance.
