Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an extrusion operator for its Engineered Films Plants in Ohio. The role covers night shift from 6:45 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with initial 90 days of training on the day shift (6:45 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.).

Candidates may be assigned to Concord Building 18 or Painesville Building 3E depending on business needs. Current department internal candidates receive first consideration. Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork, with ongoing process improvement responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain processing and material handling equipment within the film extrusion process.
• Follow procedures and instructions from line operators and team leaders.
• Monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures and related controls to meet specifications.
• Set up machines requiring precision and multiple variable interactions.
• Load raw materials, set machine controls and unload finished product.
• Record production data and monitor quality using standard checks.
