Altium Packaging in Reidsville, NC is seeking an experienced Extrusion Machine Operator to run extrusion and blow-mold equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and perform routine maintenance to keep the line running efficiently. The role requires attention to quality, ability to read drawings, and readiness for a demanding 12-hour rotating shift.

The position entails operating, adjusting, and repairing high-speed machinery, with strong emphasis on safety, GMP, and accurate daily reporting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years' experience as a machine operator.
• 2 years' experience as an extruder operator preferred.
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery & measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Basic English & Math skills.
• Machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Physical stamina and strength—able to stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Operate blow-mold machines to ensure production of quality bottles.
• Perform audits, weights, and quality checks.
• Adhere to quality control, blow mold process procedures, and GMP.
• Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mechanical changes.
• Grind excess bottles and material.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
• Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
• Prepare and document daily reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies.
