Job summary

Deceuninck North America, LLC is hiring as part of its training-focused program in Ohio. Operate lines, learn on the job, and advance from Trainee to Production Tech while earning as you learn.

Starting pay is $19.00/hour with a $2.00/hour shift differential. Within a year, earnings can reach $23.00+/hour, plus shift differential, as you gain skills and take on more responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Follow directions in English, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to read schematics and prints and interpret documentation.
• Read and monitor multiple manufacturing lines, stack and pack products.
• Prior manufacturing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Monitor and operate multiple lines and perform stacking/packing.
• Read schematics/prints and troubleshoot equipment.
• Communicate operations information to teammates.
• Maintain quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Job description

Kickstart your manufacturing career with on-the-job training and a clear path to grow! Operators start at $19.00/hour (+$2.00/hour shift differential). Within 1 year you can earn $23.00+/hour (+ shift differential) as you learn new skills and position responsibilities. Shift: Days: 7:45am to 8:00pm (2-2-3 schedule) Nights: 7:45pm to 8:00am (2-2-3 schedule) Advancement Levels: Trainee to Operator C to Operator B to Operator A to Production Tech

What you’ll bring and what you’ll do on the job:

• Ability to follow directions (in writing and verbally provided in English)
• Attention to detail
• Mechanical understanding, ability, or willingness to learn, how to read schematics and prints
• Ability to monitor multiple manufacturing lines, including stacking and packing products
• Previous manufacturing experience helpful
• Communicate operations information to co-workers
• Focus on safety, quality and meeting customer requirements
• Ability to perform precise measurements using basic math and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers etc.)
