Job summary

Novolex in Jacksonville, Florida is hiring an Extrusion Operator to operate extrusion lines producing high‑quality HDPE film while ensuring safety and efficiency. You’ll follow clear SOPs, monitor roll gauges, and ensure correct materials are used.

Compensation is $20.00 per hour with a 7am-7pm rotating schedule (2-2-3). This role offers overtime as needed and access to training programs through MyLearning and tuition support initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts.
• Overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all JSA’s and safety procedures/policies.
• Safely and efficiently set-up and operate extrusion lines to produce high quality HDPE film.
• Operate extrusion lines in accordance with job safety analysis, standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize downtime and waste.
• Ensure that proper materials are being used in accordance with procedures.
• Monitor roll weights to ensure the correct gauge is maintained throughout the shift.
• Assure proper packaging and labeling of film.
• Complete daily production reporting.

Extrusion Operator|Jacksonville, Florida| Now Hiring

Compensation:

• $20.00 per hour

Available Shift:

• 7am-7pm (rotating days and nights every 28 days, 2-2-3 schedule)
