Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Extrusion Operator in Canandaigua, NY to operate extrusion equipment safely and efficiently, meeting production standards. The role requires one year of manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay and training provided.

Shifts available: 3:00PM-11:00PM and 11:30PM-8:00AM. Eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits as part of a leading packaging manufacturer.

Qualifications

• One Year Manufacturing Experience
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Extrusion machines safely and efficiently, meeting production standards for waste, quality, and utilization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues by adjusting components and settings.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve production processes.
• Conduct quality checks and enter results.
• Run the production equipment in accordance with Standard Line Conditions.
• Use the production line performance reporting tools in an accurate and timely manner.

Compensation

• Competitive starting pay rate of $22.34-$22.84 per hour, paid weekly
• *Now offering $2000 sign on bonus*

Available Shift

• 3:00PM-11:00 PM
• 11:30PM-8:00 AM
