Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low‑rise non‑residential buildings in North America. The Extrusion Maintenance Technician II (1st shift) position supports manufacturing operations, performing electromechanical repairs, detailed equipment setup, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ maintenance experience in manufacturing, familiarity with Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and the ability to work standby shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Ability to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Ability to assist in training Level I Technicians

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues

Job Details

Maintenance Technician II is an Electro‑Mechanical position. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment, and tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.

• Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
