Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations through electro‑mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance. You will diagnose issues, perform setup changes, and help ensure equipment runs at optimum condition.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and be willing to work standby, overtime, and on-call shifts while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Ability to strictly adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness for regular standby assignments, overtime, and after-hours work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to assist training Level I technicians.
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles (voltage, current, resistance).

Maintenance Technician II is an electro‑mechanical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through equipment adjustment, repair, and preventive maintenance. The role involves tracking the usage and ordering replacement parts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical machine components to ensure optimal operating condition.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks of varying complexity following written instructions.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photodetectors, and related components.
• Troubleshoot inputs and outputs on PLCs and resolve issues.
