Job summary

Light Metals Corporation is seeking an operator to install or change extrusion heads, dies, pins, sleeves, screens and screws on the production line. You will adjust startup procedures, temperature profiles, dryer setups and resin changeovers, and you will monitor material specifications throughout shifts.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, instruct lower graded machine tenders, and perform duties in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Install or change extrusion heads, dies, pins, sizing sleeves, screens and extruder screws as needed.
• Make line adjustments including start-up, temperature profile adjustments, dryer setups, resin changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Make necessary adjustments to keep materials in the specification.
• Arrange raw material feeding systems and containers.
• Perform job duties safely while adhering to company safety standards.
