Job summary

AtD&W Fine Pack is seeking an extrusion operator to run high-quality food packaging equipment. You will adjust machines, monitor sheet quality, and ensure production targets are met on a rotating 12-hour shift with overtime as needed.

The role requires experience with extrusion machinery, strong safety practices, and the ability to work on two extruder lines while maintaining GMP compliance. Pay is $20–$24 hourly, with weekend rotation off and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating extrusion machines.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.
• May be required to use floor loading trucks.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to train in cross-functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Reads job specs to determine machine adjustments and material needs.
• Adjusts settings to keep sheet within processing standards.
• Performs quality tests and inspections to ensure sheet quality.
• Operates two extruder lines and forming machines.
• Monitors operations, detects malfunctions, and starts equipment.
• Handles rolls and moves finished product to curing area.
• Completes daily logs and basic maintenance tasks.
• Follows GMPs and safety procedures.
