Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio, is seeking an Extrusion Associate to fabricate components for final window assemblies. This full-time role involves a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.

You will perform mass production of windows and related parts, read work orders, measure using a tape, and follow verbal and written instructions. Starting pay is $17 per hour plus $1 shift differential for 3rd shift (11pm–7am).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to perform tasks.
• Read and follow verbal and written instructions and read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Read measurements with a tape measure and inspect for defects.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job and provide on-the-job training to new employees.

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am

Duties and Responsibilities

The Extrusion Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during the interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
• Employees are required to stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a ten‑hour shift
