Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking Production Associates for the 3rd shift in Marion, OH. You will fabricate components for final window assembly in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with opportunities to work across departments.

Responsibilities include mass-producing window components, assisting with material handling, and using various hand and power tools. Candidates should be able to read work orders and measurements, stand for long periods, and pass background and drug

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Base Pay Rate

$17.00 plus $1 per hour shift differential

3rd Shift

Sunday-Wednesday 7:30PM To 6:00AM (Overtime until 6:00AM)

Duties and Responsibilities

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees
