Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Production Associate to fabricate components for final window assemblies. The role requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with heavy lifting and repetitive tasks across multiple departments.

You will perform automated and manual operations using hand or power tools, read work orders, measure materials with a tape, and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Able to pass background check and drug test
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly
• Experience in manufacturing or reading a tape measure preferred

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17.00 plus $1 per hour shift differential

3rd Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 7:30PM To 6:00AM (Overtime until 6:00AM)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
