Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Associate in Ohio to fabricate components for window assemblies. You will mass-produce parts in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, handling lifting and hands-on tasks with various tools.

The role involves reading orders, measuring with a tape, and ensuring quality while supporting other departments as needed. Candidates must be 18+, eligible to work in the US, and able to pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.
• Employees are required to stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a ten-hour shift.

JOB DETAILS

Pay starting at $17 per hour

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities

The Extrusion Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during the interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees
