Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Packaging Associate to support production lines with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and safety. The role involves operating packaging equipment, inspecting product, and maintaining paperwork to meet defined standards.

Full-time positions offer comprehensive benefits; the work schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern. Candidate must be able to read a tape measure, stand for long shifts, and pass pre-employment screenings.

Job Description

Base Pay: $16 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential

2-2-3 Work Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels
• Associate maintains paperwork as required
• Performs online quality inspections
• Operates packaging equipment
• Associate visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Related machine operation experience
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to read English and quality test product
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check
• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred
